Artificial Grass Provides Base for 2016 National Sports Convention

Gearing up for its opening this Thursday 23rd June, the National Sports Convention in Australia this year has for the first time a focus on technology and solutions for natural, hybrid and synthetic turf so that more people can access facilities for both sport and recreation.

28th May, 2016, saw the British School of Nanjing in China hold their ninth annual Summer Fair, the first major event to be held at their brand new state of the art facility, featuring a new artificial grass pitch as the crown of the new campus development.

Dating back to 1963, the iconic National Olympic Stadium of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, has been given a facelift in the form of a brand new pitch, utilising artificial grass for the first time in the stadium’s chequered half century of history.

The many advantages of artificial grass are well known; no maintenance, all year round usability etc., but in Canada, users of the product as a landscaping tool are increasingly being attracted to it on account of the threat posed by, of all things, a beetle.
